Fruit and Vegetable Smoothies

Fruits and vegetables are often not the most palatable foods, however it is strongly recommended to make them a priority in diet. The truth is, they are not often the most enjoyable part of meal prep, however there are ways to get them in without excess prep. One of those ways is through smoothies, which can blend the taste of fruit with the additional health benefits of vegetables. All you need is a blender! Check out these 3 tasty recipes.

Tropical Green Smoothie

  • 1 cup leafy greens (kale or spinach)
  • ½ banana
  • 1 cup frozen kiwi, mango, or papaya
  • 1 scoop of Opti-Greens 50
  • ½ – 1 cup of milk of choice

Berry Cauliflower Smoothie

  • 1 cup frozen cauliflower flowerets
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup of frozen blackberries and/or blueberries
  • 1 scoop of Opti-Greens 50
  • ½ – cup of milk of choice

Carrot Apple Smoothie

  • 2 large carrots, roughly chopped
  • 1 apple, stemmed and cored, then roughly chopped
  • 1 frozen banana, peeled
  • 1 cup water
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of ground ginger
  • pinch of ground cardamom
